It is a great pleasure to announce the imminent publication of Still at the Margins: Biblical Scholarship Fifteen Years after the Voices from the Margin.
Edited by R.S. Sugirtharajah, this exciting new piece of collaborative scholarship brings together disparate marginal voices in one volume. Whilst past studies have looked at specific voices that remain outside of the mainstream, such as African-American or feminist biblical hermeneutics, until now there has been no publication which aims in a single volume to address all the strands of biblical scholarship that may be considered to represent 'marginal voices'.
Contributors: Ralph Broadbent, Jione Havea, Tat-Siong Benny Liew, Mary Philip (Joy), Mayra Rivera Rivera, Elisabeth Schüssler Fiorenza, J. Jayakiran Sebastian, Daniel L. Smith-Christopher, R.S. Sugirtharajah, Vitor Westelle, Vincent L. Wimbush.
'This timely and important work should be read by all scholars and general readers interested in cutting- edge biblical scholarship in our diverse world.' -- Kwok Pui-Lan, author of Postcolonial Imagination and Feminist Theology
Still at the Margins is released in the UK in April and in the US in June.
Looks fantastic! Thanks.
